Tom Brady’s first Super Bowl win was also the first for the New England Patriots. He led the Patriots to a 20-17 victory over the St. Louis Rams in Super Bowl XXVI in 2002. Brady won his first and only Super Bowl in 2004, defeating the Carolina Panthers 32-29 in Super Bowl XXXVIII.

In the championship game, the most scoring in NFL history, Brady helped the Patriots to a 13-3 victory over the Los Angeles Rams. It was his sixth title and, at 41, he became the oldest quarterback to win a Super Bowl. Brady had one of his worst seasons in 2019, throwing 24 touchdown passes, his lowest season record since 2006.

With the victory, Brady won his fifth Super Bowl and set the record for the most Super Bowl wins by a quarterback in history, tying defensive end Charles Haley for the second-most Super Bowl victories by a player. Brady also set another record with his fourth Super Bowl MVP title. On May 12, 2017, Brady was announced as the cover athlete for Madden NFL 18.
